There's a lot involved in going to the bathroom for women. -Leah Remini-
Bathroom. His bathroom interior has nature elements. This super‐deluxe green–house with its exuberant eruption of bright colours and splashes of dancing shapes is drawn from an exotic array of natural forms. The reflection of this bath—tub⁄jacuzzi is a full half‐circle on the mirror wall. Also quarter–round dome ceiling out of which extends a cluster of crystal light with a dimmer control to create the mood he desires.
The glossy black tub (piano‐shaped) and black‐and‐white striped, keyboard–motif, bath towel look surprisingly sedate in contrast with the battery of brightly coloured, larger than life, super—graphical, plantscaped wall.
The bubble of clear plastic is an ‘aquarium‘ for melodious singing birds, their melodies piped back into the bathroom soothing listening. The outside wall of this bubble is a real aviary where the birds keep in touch with the real world ― fresh air and real foliage. The platform behind a plastic bubble is the stage on which the birds perform.
A generous assortment of tropical fruits serves to satisfy the taste buds, rounding off to full satisfaction his senses: sight, touch, taste, sound and the smell of a lightly scented herbal bath. So is this decadence ― spending so much of this time with singing birds and his rubber duck?
Bedroom. The spirit of this room is in his own aesthetic terms “an enclave of womb—like tranquility“. Ruched over his bed are sweeps of splendidly romantic shimmering translucent white gauze which diffuse and wash light down from the ceiling. The furnishings are appropriately low‐key, casual and downright laid–back. The bed dominates the room to the exception of narrowly everything else.
The mirror‐wall on one side and full height glass doors on the other give the illusion of sleeping out of doors. Natural forms are included to create a true–to–life garden condition. A collection of earthen pots, a facsimile banana tree, with ever—ripened fruit, wooden bird sculptures. Also a fountain playing a light sprinkle of scented water from a white stone column‐studded with fan–shaped sea—shells, create a sensualist’s dreamland. A vigilant life‐size sculptured dog keeps the peace and makes sure no one is allowed to steal the tranquility away from his sleep.
